Writer's Block: On repeat

Everybody's free (To wear sunscreen), by Baz Luhrmann.

As many other people, I'm sure, I love this song. So much, I only listen to it if I can stop whatever I'm doing and listen to it.  Most times, I get all choked up.

Other songs I distinctly remember giving me goosebumps, although not every time, have been Kristin Chenoweth's rendition of "Hopelessly devoted to you" on Pushing Daisies, and more than one track on Amy Winehouse's Back to Black.

Ah I forgot about "Back to Black" when I just posted my version of this. Maybe I'll go back and add it now

I've declared on many occasions that this should be my wake up alarm song so that I wake up in a good mood and remember to just do what I can. I agree though, when I listen to it, I have to really be able to listen to it. I don't listen too often because I don't want it to lose its effect. And I know when it first came out, I thought it was annoying. ;x I'm glad to have grown up.

That said, I completely agree with the Pushing Daisies version of Hopelessly Devoted To You. KC is awesome on so many levels.
